Project 1
Podcast Art for Chasing Sunny Days
I started a podcast called Chasing Sunny Days, and I created the graphics for it, including the album art and episode art. My intentions for the podcast were to explore alternative lifestyles, think outside the norms and culture I was raised in, and to help people as I'm helping myself in my spiritual and self development journey. I loved the idea of incorporating a hippie aesthetic because I resonate a lot with that culture of thinking freely, appreciating nature, and the importance of love.
Podcast album art: The metaphor of the sun resonates with me as a source of light, truth, and warmth.

I wanted to have a system that I could scale for any episode, so I came up with the idea of creating retro portraits, with the option of incorporating the episode title, a quote, illustrations relevant to the content of the episode, or groovy decorative elements. I thought having a quote could be a good way to pique interest, but if I couldn't find something concise enough, I could have the flexibility to use illustrations instead.

Project 2
Visual Journal
This was a project I created for personal development and for Image Conscious Studios while I was abroad. It’s a visual journal that documents some of my travel experiences. My goals for this project were to work on my illustration skills, to create something that could be used to promote the studio, and at a high level, inspire people to consider solo travel. It ended up making it onto One Page Love and had a small mention in an Inside Design article, so I was pretty excited about that!
Project 3
Stickers
I created these custom stickers for my boyfriend by first drawing them with a micron pen and then printing them onto holographic sticker paper. He loves them and has put in a request for more designs.
